BBC Food Stories with Foodie Eshé

So I know I haven’t posted on here for a while (sorry!) I promise it’s not because I’ve stopped being in love with food, or eating my way around Sussex. It’s because I’ve been busy juggling a few bits and bobs and beavering away on a secret project that I’m finally able to reveal with you now…

Well, I can’t quite believe it but some very nice people at the BBC thought I might be good at talking about food on the radio. Eeek! So, kicking off next week I will be the host a brand new 8-part series called “Food Stories” on BBC Radio Sussex and BBC Radio Surrey. Absolute madness!

Each week, starting on the 4th November and running up until the 23rd December, I will head into the kitchen with a new guest to cook with them and talk about their story with food.

The first episode will feature 24-year old Head Chef, George Thomas of the Brighton based fine-dining restaurant, Isaac At. We’ll be making a stunning Seabuckthorn sorbet on the show and talking about the fantastic array of ingredients that you can forage in Sussex right now.

As the weeks go on I’d love to hear any feedback you have for me on the programme and hopefully, if it goes down well with listeners, it might be something I continue doing alongside the blog.

So please tune in next Monday 4th November at 9pm on BBC Radio Sussex or BBC Radio Surrey to listen live (or find the programme on catch up via the BBC Sounds App). And if you’re happy to, please share this post to help spread the word, thank you!

N.B. I’m still looking for female chefs/cooks outside of Brighton but in Sussex with an interesting story to share, so if you fit the bill, or know anyone, please drop me an email and hopefully we can chat.
