Free Tacos at Wahaca Brighton this Friday and Saturday!

“Nothing in life is for free” is how the saying goes, but today that is not the case.

Wahaca the Mexican food restaurant is opening a brand new restaurant in Brighton (where Strada used to be) on the 15th April and as part of the build-up, the lovely Wahaca folk are offering FREE TACOS tomorrow and Saturday lunchtime.

The free Tacos will be served from the Wahaca taco van parked up on New Road (by North Street) between 12pm and 3pm, alongside live music from the Voodoo Love Orquestra.

If, like me, you’re chomping at the bit to see inside, check out this wicked little video for a sneak peak of the interior, which has been created with the help Mexican Street Artist Mazatl. There’s a nice bit of commentary about how the artwork has been created to spark discussion around the importance of sustainability, something that Wahaca is championing within the restaurant industry, having just been recognised as the first Carbon Neutral restaurant group in the UK.

And if you do head down, let me know what you thought by leaving a comment below or tweeting @foodieeshe a snap of your free taco.
